Since retiring and relocating to Ruidoso, New Mexico, I have found the new love of gourding. I have only been gourding for two years now and it has become an addiction. I continually try new methods and processes, as well as various tools. Each gourd is a new experience. I have experimented with leather dyes, silk dyes, acrylics, oil pastels, gilders paste, spray paints, carving, and woodburning. Some of my favorite processes are leather dyes and woodburning. I also enjoy making masks. Occasionally I participate in art shows or you can e-mail to see more of my gourd art.

Every house there is surrounded by a garden and when the gourd dries in the sun it hardens and it can be used for everything.
