Welcome to the New Mexico Gourd Society Artist Gallery, where we celebrate the creativity, craftsmanship, and imagination of New Mexico gourd artists. This gallery features beautiful and unique gourds created by NMGS members, including decorated gourds, carved gourds, painted gourds, sculptural pieces, and other creative gourd art.
Browse our featured artist members to learn more about their gourd art, artistic inspiration, and creative journey. Each artist’s gallery page may include photos of finished gourds, an artist statement, a short biography, and stories about how gourds became part of the artist’s creative work.
The Artist Gallery Membership Pages are being curated now. If you have new photos of your gourds you’d like to share, please send them to us so we can add them to your Artist Membership Page.

Our Artist Membership Gallery
The New Mexico Gourd Society is honored to have so many members who are talented gourd artists. Many members show their work at galleries throughout the West, create and enter artwork in American Gourd Society competitions, State Fairs, local art and craft festivals, and home and garden shows. Many also teach gourd technique classes at regular meetings and gourd festivals.
People often say they are amazed by what artists can do with gourds.
NMGS members have a personal gallery page to share their artist statement and the journey that inspired them to work with gourds as an artistic medium. The New Mexico Gourd Society is proud to present gourd artwork created by our members and share their incredible gourds beyond the borders of New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment.
