WHAT ARE WE DOING?
We’re excited to share that we have a really cool project and technique planned for our June 13 meeting!
Ready to play with alcohol inks? Our members, Amanda and Charlene, have some fantastic techniques and creative ideas lined up for us.
Amanda and Charlene are new members of the New Mexico Gourd Society, and they have generously offered to lead this project. Thank you both for sharing your time, creativity, and expertise with us. We appreciate you!
HOW MUCH?
- Project Cost: $5

- Please RSVP YES or NO by Thursday, May 21, 2026, so we can prepare supplies for this class/project.
CLASS SUPPLIES NEEDED
- Please bring:
- An apron
- A prepared gourd, cleaned on the inside and painted
- or 4 gourd shards
- We will be practicing multiple alcohol ink techniques, so shards are a great option for trying several different ideas.
- NMGS / Amanda and Charlene will be providing:
- Plastic grocery bags
- Paper plates
- Alcohol inks
- Waterproof table barrier
- Alcohol and acetone
- Cotton rounds
- Drying stands
